PRB's NEXT PERFORMANCE
On Sunday, Febuary 26th at 6:30, we will do our spring
warmup
for Galen Geter's Dallas Original Jazz Orchestra. Our theme
will be "Springtime Love." Charts that are about Spring and
of course, thoughts of Love. "Woody, Basie, Kenton, and charts
recorded by many other great bands.
We will also have with us, guest artist
Cheryl Arena, vocalist and
jazz/blues harmonica player.
She is a don't miss.
We start at 6:30 and the DOJO takes over at 8PM. Great food,
drinks, and of course great Big Band Jazz.
On the Corner of Caruth Haven and
Southwestern Blvd in Dallas.
Starting
in spring of 2012, PRB will become very active, especially
in our new home The Colony, Texas. We have some spring
club
gigs lined up, and we'll play the summer outdoor concert series,
as well as The Colony's Pirate Days next October.
In
addition we will be working three gigs as the Les Elgart Orchestra,
including one in Jefferson City, MO. You can go to the Les

Pecos River Brass is a 20 piece big band
based since 2000 in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
We perform for a variety of concert jazz venues and private functions and
dances of
all types. We perform our own arrangements as well as the music from the
great
Jazz Big Bands. We are a mainstream band with a love of melody, harmony &
rhythm.
